I love Fraktur Art. The primitive simplicity of this art is enchanting. Fraktur inspired my newest release Tulip Heart Vase. This charming piece was stitched on 35 count Parchment by Weeks Dye Works using threads from Weeks Dye Works, The Gentle Art and Classic Colorworks. To give the piece dimension I used one and two strands of the fibers and added embroidery stitches over the Cross Stitch to add old world charm to the piece.
