Believe Drum Kit

The kits are just waiting for the threads to arrive.  I am stalking the mail man daily....  The linen and velvet has been cut and instructions being bagged.  Orders have and are being taken and then off to the races with shipping out this newest kit.  This has been a fun project to put together.  I really love the simplicity and elegance of the design.  It is stitched on 36 count Sweeney Red linen with Sweeney Red Velvet for finishing the top and the bottom.  Threads used are Shabby Sheep by Classic Colorworks and Garden Gate by The Gentle Art.  It is a fast and fun stitch with detailed finishing instructions and can easily be done before the holidays arrive.

I can just imagine the cool weather flowing in with the wonder and magic of the Holidays swirling around.

I am such a beach and summer person it is hard for me to transition to the next seasons-but I love the start of Fall and Winter too.  The rush of holidays and the changing of the guard of the color in the foliage add to the the excitement of the season.  The rustling of the leaves and scurrying of nature getting ready for a long winter's nap is magical.  The chill in the air and the comfort foods that come with the holidays makes family gatherings memorable.  

I hope that this sweet little project inspires you and can help with your celebration of the Christmas and the Winter Solstice.
